every woman
has the power to build stronger communities

Women Build empowers women from all walks of life to come together in a shared mission to help families in need of a safe, decent, and affordable place to call home. By bringing women together to help build Habitat homes, Women Build promotes solidarity and pride in giving back locally to women in need of a hand-up. 37% of Habitat Heartland homes are purchased by single moms, meaning your support will truly make a difference in the lives of women and children in our community.

Why Fundraise
All donations from Women Build (and other fundraising programs), go directly to help build a home alongside our future Homeowner families!  One of the best parts of getting involved is that your generosity has a direct impact on a local family in need of a safe, decent, and affordable home.

Your participation and generosity doubles your impact as you support the construction of a home and the cherished members of a local family who will build, purchase, and live in the home.

Habitat homes are a stabilizing force.
Research shows affordable living conditions lead to improved health, stronger childhood development and the ability - and financial flexibility - to make forward looking choices.

With every contribution there's a long-term, positive impact as every Habitat homeowner builds strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership - while also working hard to make their dream of homeownership come true.
